Meizu Comes to Pakistan with Three Killer Smart Phones

We have been hearing the impending arrival of Meizu smart phones in Pakistan and finally, the moment has arrived and Meizu has now launched three smart phones M5, M3 Note & MX6.
Not many in Pakistan have heard about Meizu prior to the launch, but this brand has been very active for more than a decade, started as MP3 and later MP4 Player manufacturer in 2003 by Jack Wong and later in 2008 ventured into Smart phones. Currently, Meizu has been ranked as 11th Smart Phone manufacturer based on Shipment.
The three models Meizu have launched are more or less mid ranger providing the varying degree of the feature set at reasonable price points. Meizu M5 is the entry level mid ranger offering key features like 5.2’’ Display, 2+16GB Memory and 5+13 MP camera coupled with front button fingerprint sensor is targeted towards an average user which doesn’t have deep pocket, pieced at Rs. 15,100 it’s surely a good option if someone is looking to buy an affordable feature rich smartphone. Meizu M3 Note also offers similar feature but with a bigger screen size of 5.5 inches and more powerful 4000 mAh battery, the launch price of Meizu M3 Note is Rs. 19500. Meizu MX6 is more powerful device than the rest of Meizu current offerings, the MX6 boast of a large 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution clubbed with 4+32GB memory for impeccable multitasking.
Now on to the important part, how Meizu will fare in highly competitive Pakistan smart phone market. Looking at the Meizu current portfolio, these smart phone offers nothing new for consumers right now, although with 2.5D curved design and reasonably affordable prices may attract average smart phone users. So it will all depend on what Meizu marketing and channel strategies would be and how they respond to ever changing dynamics of Pakistan market.
