HTC EYEs – Snap Review

Selfie and HTC haven’t been the best of combinations since the advent of devices like Samsung’s and IPhones hi-res front cameras. HTC apparently took note of it and following the release of HTC U11 (the present flagship) it is now launching EYEs. HTC U11 EYEs will be a serious competitor in the camera oriented market that trends nowadays.
So what is in U11 EYEs? To start with will 2 front facing cams for a much better perspective and broader vista be enough to satisfy your appetite to snap? Hence the name EYEs which makes it a jiffy for facial recognition. All the better to see you with. Where it comes to focused facial snaps and proper selfie spectrum the job is fine tuned using depth of field aka Bokeh effect.
Bigger is better and that makes the 6 inch screen on this handset a likeable choice for the large screen users. With an 18:9 aspect ratio, Full HD display and EYEs added, the fingerprint scanner is on the back of the phone which also sports a standard 12 megs of cam power lens -ultraSpeed AutoFocus that shortens the duration of focus that is enhanced by the OIS and EIS system.
On the tech architecture front the device is toned down somewhat for a budget friendly market. We get 4 gigs of RAM with 64GB expandable storage. A Snapdragon 652? Perhaps to keep the cost within reach of many consumers. Although a Snapdragon 652 will deliver almost all your requirements it still remains older than a year or two. No worries there the processor is stable and delivers.
The 3930MAh battery is however what will get this gadget going and running for everyone. Probably you can forget the power bank for a day and still carry on with the tedious and demanding chores of the day.
As you would expect from a flagship, yes, the Edge Sense is present and you can launch any app with a squeeze of it. Talking durability, the HTC U11 EYEs delivers an IP67 – rated dust and water resistant product here. So there you go pretty much carefree with this handset. Initial colours to choose from will be black, red, and silver bluish toned, Liquid Surface design on the rear panel.
