INSTAGRAM Evolves with New Feature
Refresh your Instagram if you haven’t lately. The new feature ‘Type Mode’ is finally on. The feature developed from Facebooks database and Algorithm studies, naturally, is a user-centric feature. Aimed at the average user it will be analogous to Business posts in Facebook and help evolve into a marketing ‘Type Only’ feature giving more mileage to small business initially and then aka Facebook building a Corporate presence for consumers who may pay.
Be it a user-centric or business related feature ‘Type Mode’ gets going with a swipe on the bottom of the screen from where you can easily input the desired Text for your audience called ‘Stories’ like Snapchat. Similar to Snapchat, ‘Type Mode’ is a 24 hour based Story unless you want to mark it in saved content. Not only – Type Mode, gives the freedom to make content available to users it will eventually join the onscreen messaging as may be intended. If this happens then Instagram would be a full featured App like all of Facebook’s acquisitions and will be a huge revenue generator inducting features shared from AI’s unique freedom and reach. Reach being the keyword here.
