PSO Launches the 10th ‘Stop
PSO the state-owned Petroleum Company has jumped into areas comparable to those of international levels.
‘Stop Shop’ is a similar step. Major brands have partnered with PSO to make this venture not only possible but a success. Forget the suburbia coffee shops and now you can jump straight into any one of PSO’s ‘Stop Shop’s’ for an exclusive Espresso popular for its brand name and quality versus price. Bar- Asinga a new entrant to has set up shop at PSO ‘Stop Shop’.
Apparently, this seems to be the beginning of remaking the metropolitan that Karachi was in its bloom back in 1060’s. PSO back in the day was again a market leader with foreign CEO, unlike today. That was then – this is now. And now PSO is set to make a lot of changes. Even their Stop Shops on the highway have a sterilized environment. That says a lot about how the company is revamping its brand image focusing both on consumers and CSR.
Sheikh Imranul Haque, holding the portfolios of both CEO and the Managing Director, prompted features of the company’s ‘non-fuel retail service’ (the consumer-centric service) as he inaugurated the 10th upgraded ‘Shop Stop’ convenience store at PSO’s, Stadium Service Station, petrol pump in Karachi as the reports suggested for the occasion said:
“Reports suggest that Pakistan’s retail sector stands around $50billion and has been growing faster than the economy in recent years. Realizing the huge potential in this domain, PSO has revamped the concept of its non-fuel retail stores into modern convenience stores designed on a customer-centric approach. Be it some quick purchases, a cup of coffee, birthday cake, hi-tea items, or fresh juice on the way, all new PSO ‘Shop Stop’ has it all. An ATM within the new Shop Stop also provides our customers a convenient and secure environment for a financial transaction.” Added a happy Mr. Haque.
