The announcement was made at MWC Barcelona, on March 1 (as reported by theNews International), where PTCL had partaken on a substantial level as a Telecommunications company. Brand Finance announced the enthralling news for the Pakistani Telecommunication giant as sources quoted.
The announcers, Brand Finance, as web desk quotes, is a UK based Brand Valuation Finance concern. The company also released Etisalat’s announcements related in the same field. This announcement we shall discuss in another write-up. According to Brand Finance, the value over 3,500 brands yearly – across all sectors and geographies. PTCL with its strong partnership in sports especially Cricket heightened their profile and presence by providing high valued telecommunications to the events they always sponsored and are still in the process of the same. Aided by the company’s corporate division and Strategic Planning it has given back to the community and promoted many campaigns under the umbrella of CSR. That goes for a big plus where the new shape of PTCL is concerned.
It comes as no surprise that what PTCL has achieved is purely through its internet and telecommunications mix of technology dished out to both corporate and individual customers, tailoring unbeatable world-class packages in Pakistan. Many other companies entered the local market but the competitive edge that PTCL had aimed for kept them afloat in an extremely competitive turbulence during the last 5 years.
From cable to a totally wire-free environment PTCL is still pursuing the challenges every year and is sure to reach the top slot in telecommunications in Pakistan.
