Soundbar HT-ZF9 for the 2018 New TV Screens

We have known soundbars since Dell started attaching them to their screens for entertainment PCs. A soundbar is basically a speaker driver configuration in a bar form. The spread of the sound can be set for many dynamics with software controlled Dolby configurations and other sound enhancement software.

Sony, this January beefed up the concept by introducing the 3.1 channel soundbar with Dolby Atmos, Sony HT-ZF9, featuring virtual surround sound capabilities. One thing the soundbars always had been good at was sound vista considering their design architecture with unique drivers.

The ZF9 from Sony makes it the first multi-channel soundbar using the Atmos drivers (Atmospheric multi-dimensional true to life driver and speaker configuration) with Dolby virtual surround technology.

The Sony ZF9 sequences an audio engine that amplifies and lifts the audio in a vertical direction sound projection. This along with the drivers enables the ZF9 to add more height in terms of atmospheric surround and definition. In simple words, you get both the clarity of dialogue and surround sound with a very balanced background sound or instrumentation when it comes to music listening.

The subwoofer in integration with the soundbar amped by Sony’s patented ‘S-Force Pro Front Surround’ technology completes this audio package to suit your needs from listening of a speech to the grunge of guitars to clarity in movie dialogues with multi-dimensional wild-tracks making it possible with the 4K, HDR and Dolby Vision passthrough.

Specifically designed to go along the TV screens Sony plunged into the minimal slim and suave quality design and technology with the new HT-ZF9 speaker systems.

The connectivity is not a thing to worry about as the manufacturer ensures sound sources from HDMI to Chromecast to USB off the fly music listening.

One unique feature is the Vertical-S remote that makes this sound system up-mix two channels to a 7.1 cinematic Sound system. This is not rare but a feature that requires perfect synchronization of drivers with software, in turn, giving a compatibility that is unsurpassable.

All said and done these new soundbars are going to be a joy to immerse yourself in the audio-visual experience at your leisure.
