Haier ASU – Smart Watch with interactive Skin Display Projection
Haier Electronics, at MWC 2018, a few hours ago displayed a concept smart-watch that has a built-in projector which displays the watch data on the wearer’s hand and wrist (skin). The technology is in the stage of being rolled out soon and tested on a trial marketing basis in the local market of the manufacturer and if it meets the said expectations it will be marketed worldwide.
The smart-watch named ‘Haier ASU’ has a conventional interface (bezel) but the projection is on the side from where it places the interactive-projected-image of smart capabilities on the skin of the wearer.
Still, in its incubation stage, the watch at this moment is a chunky piece of tech art. Haier plans to make it thinner for marketing if it succeeds in achieving consumer satisfaction. Haier is well known for its extremely rigid test marketing and promotions before fine-tuning a product. They always go in multi-stage-development for every product, producing the ‘final’ that assures sales and performance. Quality is, as you would expect – good as we are all aware of.
In a few months, the chunk of ASU from Haier may be out for you to get the feel of the movies that popularly show wrists flashing smart-time and other features. Till then keep checking our news and gadget stuff reviews as we roll out more for you every-day at TECHREVIEW247
